Love my new shoes. The colours are fantastic and the fit is great.
So size charts put my normal 37 size foot in a 38 shoe and I'm glad I did as they fit just right.
Pros: fun, metallics are gorgeous. can't go wrong with just about any outfit.
Cons: These shoes are heavy and don't bend.
Notes:
For those of you with sensitive soles you might find the (lumpy) embroidered logo underfoot and lack of instep uncomfortable. I added an innersole after a quick walk which sorted out the lumpy logo issue.
Something that can't be adjusted is the super thick inflexible tongue which if you wear flats like me because you tend to run late and need to break out the occasional sprint to connect with PT this is a hindrance as the shoes don't have any bend to them, so you can't get onto the ball of your foot- a bit like running in flippers.
It's a similar feeling if you've ever worn ski boots with that weird foot placement making you bend your knees all day because you can't stand up straight - this is the opposite you can stand flat but moving forward is hard work.
If you're used to stomping around in Docs have no need to run and looking for something fun these are your shoes. They won't be the everyday casuals I was hoping for when I bought them but they're a great addition to fill the gap between sneakers and dress shoes.
I have a few pairs of this style now, they’re super comfortable and I love the fun colours!
